Labiaplastyin Newport Beach

Labiaplasty or vaginal rejuvenation as it is sometimes called is a surgical procedure that reduces and/or reshapes the minora (inner) labia – the skin that covers the female clitoris and vaginal opening.

— Dr. Mark Anton, Newport Beach Plastic Surgeon

The problem can be caused by genetics, childbirth, age or even excessive weight gain. The surgery does not decrease the size of the vaginal opening, affect sexual function, stimulation, nor pleasure and is primarily performed for aesthetic purposes only.

Labiaplasty is performed under local or general anesthesia in an outpatient surgery facility. Most of our Newport Beach labiaplasty patients report the surgery as being virtually painless. Soaking in a sitz bath can offer relief from minor discomfort post-operatively. Sutures dissolve after 7-10 days.
