CASE OVERVIEW
This 46 year old patient from Newport Beach, California was extremely unhappy with her large, sagging breasts after the birth of her son. “They were the bane of my existence.” After two previous breast lifts with a different surgeon, she went on a quest to find the right plastic surgeon who would give her smaller, perkier breasts that gave her back her confidence.

PRIMARY CONCERNS
After the birth of her son, her breasts grew. And grew. “I would have a full meltdowns any time I had to get dressed to go somewhere. I could never find a shirt. I never felt comfortable. I never felt good. My breasts ruled my life.”
Before coming to Dr. Anton, she had a lift with a different surgeon, but was not happy with the results. A year later that same surgeon did a revision and added mesh, which she says, “never felt right.” That’s when she knew she needed a different surgeon.

CONSULTATION & ASSESSMENT
She did her research and consulted with almost 20 plastic surgeons from San Diego up to Beverly Hills. Each one had a different opinion about what would be her best option, but she didn’t feel like she was being heard. “Several of the surgeons suggested taking out the mesh and putting in an implant. Breast Reduction with Super Breast Lift is performed under General Anesthesia in an outpatient facility. Surgery time is 4.5 hours. Most patients go home the same day as surgery, but overnight care is an option.
Before surgery, Dr. Anton marked the patient in the sitting position. He removed a total of 375g of breast tissue from her right breast and 380g of tissue from her left. The Super Breast Lift included an internal “dermal sling” to support the tissues and add more lift. Liposuction was performed to the lateral breast to remove small pockets of fat under the arm pit extending to the bra area.
